The Department of Mathematics is youngand ambitious. The department has 24 full-time faculty members and all hold doctorate degrees and 2 instructors (M.S. in Math.). The principal goal of the Department is to help students become critical thinkers and problem solvers. There is mathematics major at the American University of Sharjah.
